Total Conversation
Total Conversation is not just video calling. Its value is simultaneous multimodal communication: a caller may speak, sign, type and see visual cues depending on disability, language, stress and operational need.
What it does
Total Conversation combines audio, video and real-time text in one accessible communication model.
It supports more equivalent emergency access when PSAPs and networks can handle multimodal sessions.
How it works
- Negotiates multiple media streams in a session.
- Allows users and call takers to communicate through the modes they can use.
- Requires PSAP workflow, recording and transfer support beyond ordinary voice.
