Geodetic Location
Geodetic data is valuable for mobile, outdoor, vehicle and app-originated emergencies. It can still be insufficient indoors or in dense urban environments unless uncertainty, altitude, floor or civic context is also available.
What it does
Geodetic location represents position using coordinates such as latitude and longitude, often with uncertainty or confidence information.
Geodetic location helps route and locate callers when coordinates are more reliable than address fields.
How it works

- Carries uncertainty so systems know how precise the position is.
