Location
Advanced Mobile Location
AML is a practical mobile-location capability. It can use GNSS, Wi-Fi and cellular positioning triggered by an emergency communication, but it is not the same thing as NG112. AML can feed better location into legacy, E112 or next-generation environments depending on national implementation.
What it does
Advanced Mobile Location improves mobile emergency caller location by sending handset-derived location to emergency services where nationally supported.
AML can provide high-quality mobile location that emergency systems may use for routing, display or responder guidance.
How it works
